A laser pen was flashed at Denmark’s goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel moments before Harry Kane’s penalty in the Euro semi-final at Wembley on Wednesday. England beat Denmark 2-1 to enter the final.

Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel had a laser pointer shone at his face by an unknown spectator during Denmark's Euro 2020 semi-final match against England. The incident happened in extra time, moments before England’s skipper Harry Kane stepped up to take a penalty. Although the goalkeeper did not appear to be aware of the attempted distraction and saved the penalty before Kane scored on a rebound.
