The match was tied at 0-0 when Eriksen suddenly collapsed without even coming in contact with any other player. The Danish players immediately formed a ring around him to block the view as doctors gave him CPR and later stretched him off the field. "Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
