India desires to have "cordial relations" with Pakistan but for it to happen, an "environment of trust" that is "devoid of terror" is "imperative", said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a letter addressed to his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan. Extending his greetings to PM Imran Khan and the people of Pakistan, PM Modi wrote, "As a neighbouring country, India desires cordial relations with the people of Pakistan.
