The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Monitoring Department and the Department of Nature Reserves, tweeted on Wednesday that it has implemented a campaign to clean Al Adaid beach of dead fish, in order to ensure the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the country and the safety and cleanliness of the environment.
A group of specialists from the Monitoring Department and the Department of Nature Reserves recently took samples of fish to the laboratory to be examined so as to determine the causes behind the incident, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change had said earlier. The fish deaths in the area, especially during the summer season, usually occur due to high seawater temperatures, the ministry noted.
