India got off to a flying start, with openers Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant taking the team to 49 for no loss. After the pair's departure, incoming Virat Kohli at number three was dismissed cheaply for one. Kohli's slump in form left the Indian cricket team's fans furious as he came in place of in-form Deepak Hooda. Ravindra Jadeja's quickfire unbeaten knock of 46 off just 29 balls helped India post 170 for the loss of eight wickets.
