England's cricket team would be prepared to boycott social media if the players wanted to take a stand against online abuse, Stuart Broad said.
Veteran pacer Stuart Broad believes England’s cricket team would be willing to join football clubs’ boycotting of social media in order to “make a stand” against online abuse. England's football clubs Swansea and Birmingham and Scottish champions, Rangers said last week they would boycott social media for a week after several players from both teams were racially abused. Notably, Broad's fellow pacer Jofra Archer reported racially motivated attacks on Instagram on at least two occasions last year and then Moeen Ali was named in a highly controversial tweet by author Taslima Nasreen.More Related News
