Former England skipper, Andrew Strauss, feels that it will be an uphill task for ‘battered and bruised’ Joe Root to make a comeback in the ongoing five-match Test series against India after Lord’s defeat.

Former England skipper Andrew Strauss opined that it will be difficult for Joe Root’s ‘bruised and battered’ team to make a comeback against a ‘spirited’ Indian outfit in the remaining Test matches. "They were favourites but let things slip before lunch (on the final day) and then had another top-order collapse," Strauss told 'Sky Sports'.
