Crews are at the scene of a major train derailment at Craven, Sask.
According to the village office, a train left the tracks Tuesday night just south of the village at the crossing over Highway 20.
Photos posted by the village and others on social media show numerous railcars with severe damage.
The village is asking people to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work.
In a Facebook post, the Village of Craven post says there are no known injuries.
Craven, which has about 210 people, is about 40 kilometres northwest of Regina.
The village is best known as the host of annual Country Thunder music festival.
