Elon Musk Tries To Spin Wisconsin Loss Into A Win, And It’s Hilariously Pathetic

Social media users immediately saw through Musk’s attempt to save face after his preferred candidate, Judge Brad Schimel, lost.
Elon Musk attempted to downplay the results of Tuesday’s Wisconsin state Supreme Court race by claiming he got what he really wanted all along, despite his preferred candidate losing.
Musk wanted Brad Schimel, a Waukesha County circuit judge and a former Republican attorney general, to win really, really badly. So much so that he and his cronies poured a record $21 million into the race. Musk himself even gave a handful of Wisconsin voters $1 million checks in order to goose the results.
“A seemingly small election could determine the fate of Western civilization,” Musk said Tuesday in a last-ditch effort to sway the results on X, per The Associated Press. “I think it matters for the future of the world.”
Yet, despite Musk’s involvement, Schimel lost to Susan Crawford, who was favored by Democrats.
On Wednesday, Musk attempted to spin the narrative by claiming his obvious defeat was actually a major win.
