In fact, during an interview, he was asked about his controversial tweets, a nonchalant Musk replied terming Twitter a "war zone".
Elon Musk's offer to buy Twitter sparked concerns among Tesla investors and analysts that the electric carmaker could suffer as the chief executive becomes distracted by his takeover plan and the possible sales of Tesla shares to fund the deal, according to a Reuters report.
The billionaire entrepreneur, who also heads rocket company SpaceX, targeted Twitter on Thursday with a $43 billion takeover offer.
On May 1, 2020, Musk tweeted, "Tesla stock price is too high". Subsequently, a staggering $14 billion was wiped off Tesla's value.
Along with this, $3 billion was taken off Musk's own stake in the automotive electric vehicle and clean energy company.
