
Elijah McClain's father reacts to indictments in his son's death: 'Better late than never'

A day after Colorado's attorney general announced indictments against three police officers and two paramedics involved in the death of his son Elijah McClain, LaWayne Mosley told CNN in an interview he's feeling "happy and hopeful."
Asked if he felt the charges were a long time coming, Mosley said, "Yes. Better late than never." Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced the indictments Wednesday, just over two years since the 23-year-old Black man died after he was stopped by Aurora police officers while walking home from a store, placed in a carotid hold and injected with ketamine.More Related News
