The final electoral rolls for Coimbatore district was released by District Collector Kranti Kumar Pati on Monday and Kavunampalayam turns out to be the biggest among the 10 Assembly constituencies in the district.
Coimbatore district has 15,58,678 male voters, 16,26,259 female voters and 657 third gender voters totalling 31,85,594. Kavundampalayam has 2,43,839 male voters, 2,47,153 female voters and 151 transgender voters; Mettupalayam has 1,49,826 male voters, 1,62,018 female voters and 47 third gender voters; Sulur has 1,62,086 male voters, 1,72,126 female voters and 99 third gender voters; Coimbatore North has 1,73,043 male voters, 1,72,855 female voters and 36 third gender voters, and Thondamuthur has 1,68,227 male voters, 1,74,557 female voters and 144 third gender voters.
Coimbatore South has 1,21,431 male voters, 1,23,398 female voters and 34 third gender voters; Singanallur has 1,66,199 male voters, 1,70,611 female voters and 32 third gender voters; Kinathukkadavu has 1,70,808 male voters, 1,78,963 female voters and 44 third gender voters; Pollachi has 108,969 male voters, 1,20,073 female voters and 44 third gender voters, and Valparai (Reserve Constituency) has 94,250 male voters, 1,04,505 female voters and 26 third gender voters.
In the final electoral rolls released for Tiruppur district by District Collector T. Christuraj, the total electorate was 24,15,608 (11,82,905 male voters, 12,32,351 female voters and 352 third gender voters). Palladam becomes the biggest among the eight constituencies in the district with the total strength of 4,10,072 voters.
