New Delhi: Keeping its early 'Holi' promise, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Thursday (March 10, 2022) became the only party in over 30 years to get re-elected for a second term in Uttar Pradesh and also retained Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa.
The BJP also increased its vote share in almost all the states that went to polls including a marginal rise in Punjab.
Following the win, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a celebratory gathering at BJP headquarters in Delhi.
