Elderly man rescued by police officials after falling on railway track in Tamil Nadu's Katpadi

An elderly man was rescued by police officials after he fell on the railway track at Katpadi railway station in Tamil Nadu.

An elderly man fell on the railway track at Katpadi railway station in Tamil Nadu's Vellore city at around 11.40 am on Tuesday. He fell on the track while trying to cross over. He was rescued by railway police officials. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, the elderly man from north India can be seen stepping on to the track in order to cross over. He then, suddenly, falls down next to a goods train parked on the track.
