El Salvador students discover QF’s educational experience

Doha: Students from El Salvador have been given an insight into university life at Qatar Foundation – and how the organization can support them to advance their academic journey at Education City.

In a cross-continental virtual event organised by Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Student Financial Services, and attended by Gerardo Heriberto Pérez Figueroa, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of El Salvador in Qatar, more than 500 students from the Central American country learned about QF’s international partner universities and the range of scholarships and financial aid options it provides through its commitment to inclusive, accessible education. The open house-style event gathered Salvadorian learners who are based in their home country and around the world, including those living in Qatar, with Mr. Figueroa saying: “In seeking opportunities for young people from El Salvador who are looking to continue their education abroad, it is very important to have key partners.
