
Eight-year sentence for two ISIS recruiters who pleaded guilty in Mumbai court

A special court in Mumbai has sentenced two ISIS operatives to eight years in prison.
The special court in Mumbai under the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act, has sentenced two ISIS operatives, Rizwan Ahmed and Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed, to eight years in prison.
The two were accused of trying to radicalise Muslim youth to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The case was registered in 2015, and NIA filed a chargesheet against the two in 2016. The chargesheet spoke about how the accused coerced Muslim youths from the Malwani area in Malad west area of Mumbai to join the terror outfit.
