Egyptian community is one of largest, oldest in Qatar: Al Shafi

Doha: The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi said the Egyptian community is one of the largest and oldest in the State of Qatar.

“The Egyptian community has contributed, with its great and remarkable experiences in various sectors, to the building of the Qatari economy and the renaissance of the State of Qatar. Over the past decades, it has been appreciated and respected by the government and people of Qatar,” he added. The statement came during his meeting with H E Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower of Egypt at the Ministry’s headquarters in Cairo.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of employment and vocational training, exchange work experiences between the two parties in various sectors, and activate joint memoranda of understanding between the two sides.
