The meeting is being conducted in virtual mode due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Though there is no official announcement regarding this year, it is expected that the decision regarding the CBSE board exams will also be discussed at this meeting. This is most likely the first time Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal is meeting with the state education secretaries amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The meeting will also throw light on the measures taken by states to ensure proper education during the lockdown.
