The Class 12 CBSE board exams were cancelled on June 1, following an important meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other officials. The decision was taken considering the views of all stakeholders and the education ministers and secretaries of all the states and UTs. Students gave mixed reactions on the matter as many are worried about the CBSE assessment method and about how college admissions would take place. Most teachers however supported the move.
