ED to file chargesheet against Anil Deshmukh in money laundering case

ED will be filing a chargesheet against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh this week.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing the alleged 100 crore extortion case against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh will be filing a chargesheet in the case this week. This will be the second chargesheet in the case.

Deshmukh was arrested by the ED in the case on November 2, while his personal secretary Sanjeev Palande and personal assistant Kundan Shinde were arrested in the month of June. A chargesheet against Palande and Shinde had been filed on August 24 by the ED.
