ED raids Pune transport office in probe against Maharashtra Minister Anil Parab

Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted searches on the premises of Deputy Regional Transport Officer (DyRTO) Bajrang Kharmate in Pune on Monday in connection with its probe against Maharashtra Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab. The probe relates to the corruption case against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. On Sunday, summons were issued to Parab by ED asking him to appear before the agency on Tuesday. Dismissed assistant police inspector Sachin Vaze had made allegations against Parab in a letter he wanted to submit at the NIA court.
