ED raids Arpita Mukherjee's Belgharia flat again, takes CCTV footage to make note of visitors

On July 27, the ED conducted raids on two flats of Arpita Mukherjee in Belgharia and recovered a huge amount of cash worth 27.90 crore.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which last week conducted raids on Arpita Mukherjee's residences and recovered around 50 crore cash and gold worth Rs 5 lakh, visited the housing complex --Club Town Heights in Belgharia again on Monday. Arpita, a close aide of former Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, had two flats there.
Probing the Bengal teacher's recruitment scam, the ED is focusing on visitors to Arpita's two residences. That's why ED officials appeared at Belgharia Club Town Heights to get some details about the flats. As per ED sources, officials took CCTV footages and other evidence as well. They took a register of the housing and My Get App information, an app which is commonly used in housing to maintain records of visitors.
Ankit Chaurasiya, the president of the housing complex said, "We have given what they wanted. But we can't say more in the interest of investigation. The officials entered the maintenance room, and checked CCTV footages of the society”.
On July 27, the ED conducted raids on two flats of Arpita Mukherjee in Belgharia and recovered a huge amount of cash worth 27.90 crore. Gold ornaments, land deeds, and hard disks were also recovered along with other things.
On Tuesday, Partha Chatterjee and his close associate Aprita Mukherjee will be taken to ESI Hospital at Joka, for a medical check-up.
