The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is likely to issue fresh summons to Anil Deshmukh in the money laundering case after the former Maharashtra home minister failed to appear before the financial probe agency on Saturday. He will now be called for questioning next week. Anil Deshmukh was asked to depose before the investigating officer at the agency office in Ballard Estate by 11 am on Saturday. However, he skipped the summons and instead filed an application seeking time for him to appear before the ED. They also handed over a letter written by Deshmukh to the investigators.More Related News
