ED freezes investments worth Rs 88 lakh made by chief of Qatar-based firm

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has issued freezing order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), against Subrahmanya Srinivas Pinninti, freezing his investments worth Rs 88 lakh made in India out of the proceeds of crime acquired in Qatar, officials said. Pinninti is the head of the Buyers Department in Al Meera Consumer Goods Company, Doha, Qatar. The freezing order was passed after search action under PMLA which was initiated based on Letter Rogatory (LR) received from the Embassy of Qatar, New Delhi.More Related News
