ED attaches Dehradun property worth Rs 74 crore of ex-BSP MLC Mohd Iqbal in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached property worth Rs 74 crore in Dehradun of former Uttar Pradesh BSP MLC Mohd Iqbal in a money laundering case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached a plot worth Rs 74 crore in Uttarakhand's Dehradun of former Uttar Pradesh BSP MLC Mohd Iqbal and his family members in a money laundering case, officials said.

The ED's Lucknow Zone had filed a case under Prevention of Money Laundering against Mohd Iqbal and others on the basis of investigations conducted by Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Delhi relating to acquisition of assets through illegitimate means in 2010-2011.
