ED arrests director of Kolkata-based Ramsarup Industries in Rs 184 crore bank fraud case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested the director of Ramsarup Industries in Kolkata in connection with a Rs 184 crore bank fraud case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested the promoter-director of Kolkata-based steelmaker Ramsarup Industries, Ashish Jhunjhunwala, for allegedly defrauding a nationalised bank, officials said.

According to the sources, he had taken a loan of around Rs 184 crore from a nationalised bank.
