Eastern Army Commander visits EAC headquarters in Shillong

Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Manoj Pande met with Air Marshal Amit Dev on Sunday at the Eastern Air Command headquarters in Shillong, Meghalaya, to discuss defence readiness in the Northeast.

Eastern Command GOC-in-C Lt Gen Manoj Pande on Sunday visited the Eastern Air Command (EAC) headquarters in Shillong, Meghalaya, and discussed defence readiness with the EAC's AOC-in-Chief, Air Marshal Amit Dev. Since taking command of the Eastern Army on June 1, this was Gen Manoj Pande's first visit to the EAC headquarters. Joint operations and jointmanship were the main topics of discussion between the two commanders.
