Earthquake centered in New Jersey felt along East Coast

Officials reported that shaking could be felt in Philadelphia all the way up into southern New England.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a Magnitude 4.7 earthquake was centered in Lebanon, New Jersey, on Friday morning, a town 50 miles west of New York City.
The USGS said that the earthquake could be felt in and around New York City and Philadelphia. There was no immediate word on whether the earthquake caused any damage.
