
DU Open Book Exams 2021: Why students are against end-term exams amid second wave of pandemic

As the DU OBE 2021 exams are set to kick off, students are voicing their concerns regarding the conduction of the exams in the middle of the current Covid-19 crisis.
Delhi University (DU) has recently announced that the end-term examinations for final year students in affiliated colleges will be conducted from June 7 in an open book format (OBE), a decision which has received a lot of flak from the student population of the varsity. Students are opposing the decision of the Delhi University administration, who have decided to conduct the end-term exams despite several stakeholders pushing for its cancellation in view of the current Covid-19 situation across the country. According to a survey conducted by Lady Shri Ram College for Women, around two-thirds of all the students have said that they are not in the right state of mind to appear for the end-term exams as the Covid-19 pandemic has caused distress all across the country.More Related News
