India Today has accessed CCTV footage from the Goa club in which Sonali Phogat's aide is seen forcibly giving her drugs, hours before her death.

India Today has accessed CCTV footage showing BJP leader Sonali Phogat being forcibly given spiked drink by one of her aides at a Goa club, hours before her death.

In the video, one of her aides and an accused in the case, Sudhir Sagwan, is seen forcibly giving drugs from a bottle to Sonali Phogat. An 'intoxicated' Sonali Phogat is also seen trying to stop Sudhir but to no avail.

Phogat, a former TikTok star and contestant on the reality show Big Boss, died on August 23, a day after her arrival in Goa. She was brought dead to a hospital at Anjuna in North Goa district from the hotel where she was staying.

The doctors said she had had a heart attack, but her brother alleged that Sagwan and Singh, who had arrived in Goa with her, had played a role in her death.
