Doha: In the spirit of productive collaboration between the Qatari and Saudi Basketball Federations, the Qatari capital, Doha, is set to host the Saudi Basketball Team 3x3 camp for men and women under 23 years of age. This camp serves as a continuation of the preparatory camp in anticipation of the Asian qualifiers for the Nations Championship.
Following the internal camp held in Dammam from July 6 to 15, the Saudi national team is gearing up for the Asian qualifiers taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 22 to 28.
The Saudi men’s team comprises of: Muhammad Al Khater, Saad Al Subaie, Rayan Al Ahmad, Manaf Al Salem, Hazem Al Jawhar, Hammam Hussein, Abdul-Malik Ashour, Abdul-Rahman bin Mahfouz. On the other hand, the women’s team includes: Jana Balghaith, Noura Al Nuwaisir, Reman Al Ahmadi, Al Maha Al Hammad, Ruaa Al Khulaifi, Basma Al Marzouqi, and Juri Al Awad.
The administrative supervision of the team is under Saeed Al Faraj and Khadija Saad, while the technical leadership is in the hands of French coach Kevin Cor, supported by Saudi coaches Turki Al Muhanna, Ishaq Al Ahmad, physical trainer Elie Maroun, physical therapist Kamal Baltoumi, and Rayhana Al Sulaiman.
