Doha Institute for Graduate Studies accepts 244 students for Fall 2021

Doha: The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has accepted 244 students from more than 10,000 applications worldwide for 2021 Fall semester. Qatar is on top of the list of admitted students with a total number of 82 Qatari students, 33% of the students admitted. 

The admitted students will enroll in 17 master’s programmes. 175 students were admitted to the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, and 69 students to the School of Public Administration and Development Economics. All applications for admission to the DI’s programmes were subject to a thorough examination and assessment, which included interviews conducted with DI professors. The students were selected based on their academic achievements in their undergraduate studies, proficiency in Arabic and English, knowledge in the area of specialization, and contribution to the service of their community.  The fall semester will start on August 29. The Class of 2021 will be the seventh cohort to begin their studies at DI since its opening in 2015.
