Doha emerges as top international destination for Mumbai airport in August

Doha: Doha, Qatar, has emerged as the top international destination for Mumbai airport in August, data released by the airport showed yesterday.

Approximately 41,410 passengers travelled to and from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport (CSMIA) to Doha last month. This was followed by Dubai and Male with 37,126 and 18,190 passengers respectively, travelling internationally from Mumbai.  Qatar Airways, Indigo, Go First and Air India Express operate direct flights to Mumbai from Doha. Hamad International Airport has emerged as the most preferred transit airport in the region for passengers heading to US, Africa and Europe.
