Doctors at the SLG Hospitals in Hyderabad saved the life of a 60-year-old man, whose one lung was damaged due to a combination of "black and white funguses" after recovering from Covid-19. The condition, which is known as aspergilloma, is a first-of-its-kind case in a post-Covid patient. While many black fungus cases have been reported in the past, which mostly infected nasal cavities, the combination of black and white funguses in infecting a lung was detected for the first time in a post-Covid patient. This condition otherwise occurs due to tuberculosis.More Related News
