The Supreme Court has pulled up the Uttar Pradesh government over the actions taken so far in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case and asked why Union minister’s son Ashish Misra has not been arrested even after being booked for murder.
“Do you treat the accused in the same way in other murder cases in the country,” asked the Supreme Court on action taken against Ashish Misra, who has been named in the FIR.
