Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MLA SR Raja has been booked for threatening a top executive of a Tamil Nadu-based auto firm.
Tambaram Police has registered a case of trespassing and criminal intimidation against Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MLA SR Raja after his video of threatening the CEO of a Tamil Nadu-based auto firm went viral.
The legislator was booked based on a complaint filed by Krishnamoorthy, the CEO of Daejung Moparts Pvt Ltd.
SR Raja allegedly visited the company premises on behalf of RK Sharma, against whom a cheating complaint was filed by the management earlier.

In the video that went viral, SR Raja is seen scolding and threatening to harm the officials of the firm.
Tambaram Police registered the case under Sections 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words), 447 (punishment for criminal trespass), and 506 (I) (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
As the video went viral, SR Raja faced condemnation on social media as well.
