Divyanka Tripathi refutes rumours of being offered Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma

Divyanka Tripathi has said that the rumours of her being approached for the character of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are "baseless" and "non-fatual". Earlier, Disha Vakani used to play the popular role in the show.

Divyanka Tripathi has opened up about the rumour of being approached for the role of Dayaben in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC). Calling the rumour “baseless” and “non-factual”, the actress said that while the show is fabulous, she is looking for a fresh concept. Divyanka has recently returned from Cape Town, South Africa, where she was shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Earlier, Disha Vakani played Dayaben in TMKOC.
