Disney+ revealed the cast and start date for its upcoming “Star Wars” series focused on the character Obi-Wan Kenobi.
On Monday, Disney and Lucasfilm announced that the duo will be joined by stars Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. While no details about their respective characters have been announced, Variety notes that Edgerton and Piesse previously played Luke Skywalker’s aunt and uncle in the prequel films, making it likely that they too will be reprising their roles and that a young Luke Skywalker could factor into the plot.
