So, a doctor named Wendy Bohon shared the story of her boy who got invited to a birthday party for the first time. She detailed his excitement on Twitter and netizens joined in to rejoice with her and the baby boy.
Dr Wendy Bohon talked about her twin boys in a post on Twitter that has gone viral online. She informed that one of her boys who is neurodivergent, a person whose brain functions differently in one or more ways than is considered standard or typical, was invited to a birthday party for the first time. The sweet boy couldn’t contain his excitement and cried with joy, clutching the invitation. Through her post, Wendy also highlighted the need for kindness and inclusion.
According to health experts, people are described as neurodiverse when their thought patterns, behaviors, or learning styles fall outside of what is considered "normal," or neurotypical.
“I have twins. One of them is neurodivergent and he was just invited, for the 1st time, to a birthday party. He is clutching the invitation to his chest and crying (with joy). Kindness matters. Inclusion matters,” reads the caption of the post.
