Diesel prices hiked again by over 25 paise, petrol remains unchanged| Check latest rates

Diesel rates across the country have been hiked again by over 25 paise on September 26. Meanwhile, the price of petrol remains unchanged. Check the latest city-wise fuel rates here.
There has been no change in the prices of petrol for 21 consecutive days. At the same time, diesel rates have been increased by 25 to 27 paise across the country. Notably, diesel prices recorded a hike of 20-22 paise earlier on Friday and it was the first increase since July 15. Interestingly, just three days later, the prices of diesel were increased again by 25-27 paise.
As of today, petrol is retailing at Rs 101.19 per litre in New Delhi while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.07 per litre, recording an increase of 25 paise from yesterday’s price. In Mumbai, the price of petrol remained unaltered at Rs 107.26 on Sunday, which is still the highest among the four metro cities at present. On the other hand, diesel prices rose by 27 paise to Rs. 96.68 in the financial capital.
