Did Kichcha Sudeep reach out to Ajay Devgn after Twitter spat? Vikrant Rona star has a funny take
India Today
Kichcha Sudeep is going all out to promote his upcoming film, Vikrant Rona. In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Sudeep revealed whether he reached out to Ajay Devgn after their infamous Twitter spat.
Kichcha Sudeep and Ajay Devgn's infamous war on Twitter in April sparked a conversation over Hindi imposition. While promoting his upcoming film, Vikrant Rona in Mumbai, Sudeep revealed whether he reached out to Ajay Devgn after the incident. His funny answer left everyone surprised. He also maintained that all is well between them.
In April this year, Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep and Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn engaged in a Twitter spat after the former's 'Hindi is no more a national language' remark.
In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Sudeep talked about the fight and also revealed if he had spoken to Ajay post the controversial debate. During the promotion of Vikrant Rona, Sudeep was asked if he had reached out to Ajay Devgn post the controversial debate. To which he quirkly replied, "I'll reach out to him on the day when I need Kajol mam's dates for a film."
He continued saying, "See, Ajay is a gentleman. Something wrong happened that day and it was a misinterpretation. I think we all are 'all is well that ends well' kind of people. It was like he tweeted, then I tweeted back and it went on. That's about it. But, after that, whatever happened was all political. Neither did he belong to any political party nor did I. I think we were enjoying our coffees, while others were fighting over it. It became so huge that our honourable Prime Minister had to make a statement indirectly warning everybody, which I loved. We should have stopped it long back, but that put an end to it."
Ask Sudeep if this incident will stop him from tweeting anything in the future, he said, "No, see I don't tweet unnecessarily. I only tweet what is on my mind. I don't think too much, we are not doing any crime there. We're just letting out our opinion."
In April, Kichcha Sudeep attended an event where he said that 'Hindi is no more a National language.'
Ajay took to Twitter and wrote, "My brother, if according to you Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your movies in your mother tongue by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is, and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Man (sic).”
