Gauahar Khan seems to have supported Ranbir Kapoor over his comment on wife Alia Bhatt's weight gain. Here's what Gauahar Khan wrote.

Ranbir Kapoor was at the receiving end of criticism after he made a 'phailod' remark over his pregnant wife Alia Bhatt's weight gain. The actor was heavily criticised for his remark and it was only recently that he apologised for his comment. However, it seems Ranbir's Rocket Singh co-star Gauahar Khan has come out in support of the actor. Gauahar shared a cryptic note on her Twitter handle and commented on how people get offended easily these days.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Gauahar Khan wrote, "Aaj kal log kuch zyaada hi sensitive ho gaye hain . Ab apni biwi se kuch halka phulka Mazaak karne pe bhi paabandi hai , kya pata kaun kahaan pe offend ho jaaye . Take a chill pill yaar , take light , it will resolve a lot of the issues in the world (sic)."

[People have become very sensitive these days. Now even cracking a light joke with your wife isn't allowed, who knows what might offend people.]

At the Chennai press meet of Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor apologised for his comment on wife Alia's weight gain during pregnancy. "Firstly, I love my wife with everything I have in my life. It's a joke that didn't turn out to be funny. It wasn't my intention. I spoke to Alia about it later and she laughed it off. My sense of humour falls flat on my face sometimes. I apologise to those who got offended by it," he said.
