Dick Stolley, the legendary journalist who landed the Zapruder film of John F. Kennedy’s assassination for Life magazine and who went on to launch People magazine, has died.
He died on Wednesday at age 92 in a nursing home in Evanston, Ill., according to friends of his family. Stolley, an editor in the Los Angeles bureau of Life at the time of the assassination, flew into Dallas a few hours after Kennedy was shot on Nov. 22, 1963.More Related News
