Dhokha Round D Corner scored low at the box office on day 2. The film is directed by Kookie Gulati.
Dhokha Round D Corner was released on September 23, which was celebrated as National Cinema Day. Due to the low ticket pricing on the same day, the Kookie Gulati directorial got a benefit and opened at Rs 1.25 crore at the box office. Starring R Madhavan, Khushalii Kumar, Darshan Kumaar and Aparshakti Khurana, Dhokha Round D Corner was touted to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. However, the film opened to mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike. On day 2 at the box office, the R Madhavan-starrer reportedly collected only Rs 55 lakh.
According to Amar Ujala report, Dhokha Round D Corner managed to only earn Rs 55 lakh at the box office on day 2. The figure is less compared to its first day box office number.
Sharing an official box office update about the Kookie Gulati film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh earlier wrote on Twitter, "#Dhokha gets the benefit of lower ticket rates [#NationalCinemaDay2022] on Day 1, has a healthy start [limited screens/shows]... Will be interesting to see how it fares on Day 2 and 3, when ticket rates return to normal pricing... Fri 1.25 cr. #India biz. (sic)."

IndiaToday.in film reviewer Grace Cyril gave 2.5 stars to Dhokha Round D Corner. Sharing her thoughts about the film, she mentioned, "Among many flaws that the film has, the greatest problem is its lack of logic. A terrorist on a death sentence falls in love with his hostage in a matter of hours, a police officer who has zero knowledge about controlling such a situation is put in charge, the snipers who stand there with guns but fire not a single bullet even when they get multiple chances - the list is endless."
