Dhanush took to Twitter to inform his fans that he has wrapped up the shooting of Naane Varuven. The film is directed by his brother, Selvaraghavan.
Dhanush took to Twitter on April 11 to inform his fans that he has wrapped up the shooting of Naane Varuven. The film is directed by his brother and ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. The Maaran actor shared a black-and-white photo of himself sitting on top of a car. According to rumours, Naane Varuven will feature Dhanush in two roles. An official announcement is still awaited.
Selvaraghavan reunited with his brother Dhanush for Naane Varuven. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Naane Varuven is tipped to be a commercial entertainer.
On April 11, Dhanush took to Twitter to share a photo from the sets of Naane Varuven. He also revealed that the shooting has been wrapped up. Naane Varuven will hit the theatres later this year. Soon, an announcement regarding the release will be out.
Sharing the photo, Dhanush wrote, "And it’s a wrap #Naanevaruven HE IS COMING (sic)," with a bow and arrow emoji.

Dhanush's Naane Varuven went on floors in 2021. A major portion of the film was shot in Ooty. The film is tipped to be an action-thriller about two look-alikes. Induja Ravichandran, Elli AvrRam and Yogi Babu have been roped in to play supporting roles in the film. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Arvind Krishna and editor Prasanna GK are part of the technical crew.
