Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar is currently basking in the success of her Telugu web show, Dhahanam. The series was released on April 14 and it has received a good response. In the meanwhile, IndiaToday.in exclusively interacted with Isha Koppikar about her character in Dhahanam and the web show. Baring her heart out, the actress revealed that she feels at home when she wears a cop uniform. And at the same time, she spoke about reuniting with Ram Gopal Varma.
During an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Isha Koppikar revealed if she had to prepare for the role of a cop.
In response to this, Isha said, "We shot the series in phases. Every time I went there (on the sets), I would reconnect with the character as per what was told to me by RGV. But honestly, there was no preparation as such. Like I always say in all my interviews, the decorum and the feeling of being a cop are more or less the same. They are very stern, they are uptight, they are not friendly and they are people of few words. So, this is usually how the cops are, but they could be different."
On being asked how she felt wearing a cop uniform, the actress added, "I love it and I feel so good. I feel at home."
Before signing off, the actress summed up her experience of working on a Telugu web show. "It was great and fabulous. I always enjoyed working with RGV. I met a lot of new people and some from the South. I met a whole new ensemble of actors, with whom I have never worked with. So, it was a very exhilarating and new experience for me to work with some of them. And all were men. I was not at all intimidated," the actress said, on a concluding note.
