Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis warned state lawmakers not to defy him on illegal immigration, saying it would be politically "hazardous" to close a special session without progress.
DeSantis warned that would be a costly mistake. "It would be very, very hazardous politically," he told reporters during a roundtable discussion at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
