The Democratic Party’s handling of the renters’ eviction moratorium reveals their utter contempt for the separation of powers, the rule of law, private property rights, and the U.S. Constitution itself. And they are not shy about this at all. The Supreme Court struck down the Biden administration’s extension of an expired moratorium that prevented landlords from booting tenants who could not pay their rent, due to COVID-19-related economic woes. While the original legislation applied only to federally subsidized residences, Team Biden unilaterally and lawlessly included all rental properties.
