Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Commander of the US Air Forces Central Command Lieutenant General Gregory Guillot on Wednesday. The meeting discussed issues of mutual concern, mainly the evacuation operations which took place in Afghanistan over the past weeks. The Commander of the US Air Forces Central Command expressed his country’s thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by Qatar in facilitating the evacuation operations. (QNA)
