Deputy Amir meets US Congress Delegation

Doha: The Deputy HH Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan office on Saturday morning with a delegation of members of the United States Congress, on the occasion of their visit to the country.

Deputy Amir received the Chairman of House Committee on Foreign Affairs Democratic Representative for New York Gregory Meeks, Democratic Representative for Florida Ted Deutch, Republican Representative for Kentucky Garland Hill, Democratic Representative for Rhode Island David Cicilline, Democratic Representative for North Carolina Kathy Manning, Democratic Representative for Illinois Brad Schneider, Democratic Representative for Virginia Abigail Spanberger, Republican Representative for Arkansas French Hill, Democratic Representative for California Sara Jacobs, Republican Representative for New York Nicole Malliotakis. During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic friendship and cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the United States and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international developments.
